I don't like all the changes.  It's too much.  I don't like the team thing either.  Too much running around, and chaos.  And this awarding of the medals - just a big distraction.  Go back to the way it was --- please!

I wonder if they are doing their own shopping and it's just been edited out of the episodes or if the trucks are being stocked prior to the challenges.

You have to wonder what Bao Bei was thinking when they chose that name.  Have they never seen the show before and know there are time constraints on each challenge so making buns would be a bit of an issue.

@CelticCrafter,  I was thinking about the shopping aspect while watching the show but at one point one of the participants, the one that lost the spatula, mentioned possibly leaving it at the commissary.

Not sure if I like the new format and one team being eliminated before the end of the show but I do like the medals idea at the beginning and at the end but no elimination at the end?  The medals are of course because of the Olympics this month.  I thought it was rude that the one team gave food to another and he trashed it.  And what's w/the trucks losing power already.  I think, if I'm correct, that two of them did. I know that one had to power it up a few times. The Stars and Stripes teams was interesting.  I wonder if that's going to be in every episode.

Too many teams yet to pick a favorite but I'm tired of Waffles.  Bao Bei is from Rockville, MD and I'm there too.  I sort of know where they are located.  I live in the suburbs and glad they didn't get eliminated.

Not sure when they taped it but a lot of teams were just wearing tshirts outside, some jackets and Tyler w/his puffy coat?  LOL
