THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE 6/18

I always enjoy this series. The only team I just couldn't stand thankfully got eliminated. They were so obnoxious and acting stupid while driving, I was so glad to see them go.

I like the other teams, especially Bald Guy and Khana. All of the others seem pretty nice as well. IMO the team that got sent home was the fly in the ointment.

I do enjoy that show and I'm so glad that loud, uncouth, nutso team was eliminated.  I couldn't take another weak of them.  They all made great food but Bald Guys seemed especially good.

@chrystaltree   ITA! I really like them. I think the women on Khana seem really nice and I'd like to try some of their food, same with Bald Guys.

I think the Paisani team had a bigger opinion of themselves than they delivered.

Re: THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE 6/18

I was shocked that the Block team sold so little.  Tyler had raved about their wings.  However, when they ran out of food and still had 2 hours left and decided to close up -- I thought --- big mistake, big, big mistake!  They were totally over-confident!  I don't know how much they charged for things.  In the past it seemed like Tyler was asking the teams more about what they were charging and if it seemed they were not charing enough or charging too much, he would tell them.  As for the Pasisono team, the other teams were all giving them a lot of smack talk and I was glad they were not eliminated.  When the Block food truck hit theirs, they were good natured about it and when Block was eliminated, they wished them well.  Good Team spirit -- a lot to be said for that!

Am I correct that the team standings is determined by profit rather than total sales?  If so it seems the combination of the high price of chicken wings and failing to accept the challenge created The Block's downfall.

At the end Tyler told the crepe ladies they would have been gone if The Block had taken the challenge and received the $300.  The crepe ladies did get the extra $300 which saved them.

I like the David vs. Goliath theme.

The pros are my choice.  I guess I just like their food better.  I'm glad the team that went home are gone.  They drove me crazy.

Not that this is a factor, but all those darn tattoos and the piercings especially Al on Khana.  To me it's a distraction.  JMO.

I'm not sure how I feel about this season.  There are a lot of teams to keep track of.  I guess I am not tuned in to food trucks  --$88 for 4-5 items?  The prices they charge have always amazed me.  If I'm going to  pay that much, I want to be in a restaurant and be waited on.  I guess they charge what the traffic will bear.

Don't the producers give the money to the people who buy ? That whole thing wanting a refund was totally set up !
