@Cakers3 wrote:@Icegoddess They did not open up Wilbur-they were about to do so when they were told to stop because a human heart had just been obtained from the death of a person from a motorcycle accident.
So they took Wilbur off the anesthesia and was given a home with the man who was a recluse.
Win win for both.
@Cakers3 Shaun did do the first cut. He even said they needed to suture him closed.
@Icegoddess Ok - sorry I did miss that point in the show. Thank you!

Considering what you said, I wonder if the spin-off will be called "The Good Lawyer"!

@shoesnbags Actually that IS the name of the spinoff.

Executive Producers probably bought the rights to develop Korean drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" into an Americanized version. Just as The Good Doctor came to be produced.
They will need a very good actor for the lead, as the lead in Extraordinary Attorney Woo was exceptional! She was perfectly cast and really made the series successful.
This series was one of the best and most enjoyable k-drama I have seen in a long time.

A really good episode, finally watched it on Saturday Morning! I figured Dr. Lim would sue. At least it is interesting with the different cases, and I really like the new interns as well.

Sounds like the lawyer in Boston Legal who had Aspergers Syndrome.

Tired of the Shaun and Lea show-and I sure as heck would not want my surgery being done while Shaun figures out his marital issues.
Calling Lea in while watching brain scan.
Calling a meeting-*yawn* with others to take notes and I'm glad Dr. Lim told him off at the end.
I "get" Shaun but tired of the same issues with Lea who has been a drag during this whole series. It's always a priority with her and Shaun-the world will collapse if they cannot figure out the dishwasher and shirt folding before patient care.
So her paralysis was to introduce a spin-off. Great.
