Re: THE FUGITIVE "THE HOMECOMING" DAVID JANSSEN SHIRLEY KNIGHT MONDAY 2:00 A.M. EASTERN ME

@Pearlee - I never heard of triangle eyes!  Now I'll have to look at a close up of him.

@twinsister. Look back at some of @Oznell's first posts on Fuge threads; she's posted some close up photos before. 🔺️

Re: THE FUGITIVE "THE HOMECOMING" DAVID JANSSEN SHIRLEY KNIGHT MONDAY 2:00 A.M. EASTERN ME

@Pearlee  yes, that was a seductive move. She was a "loose woman" in contrast to the descriptions used by the Judge and Miss Ellie of "gentle and gracious" and "a lady. That's something that's born in you." that they used in reference to Janice.

Speaking of Janice, I think in some way she was attracted to or maybe the correct expression is drawn to Kimble. She immediately told him where she had been which was somewhat surprising because normally people don't admit they have had breakdowns to someone they barely know. She instinctively trusted him. That's why she also was able to share memories of her mother. "Everyone should have someone to talk to." Just as she turned to Kimble, she turned away from Floyd, someone from her past. Not sure if that was a friendship or more but she clearly wasn't interested in a rekindle of whichever.

Triangle eyes? I'll have to look back too.

@Tique. Yes "drawn to" Kimble is, I think, a perfect description. I don't think she was romantically interested in him but she sensed his kindness and goodness and that he cared about her well- being. Which made me wonder last night how her character was supposed to be. Perhaps just late teens? Or 20 maybe.
I think Kimble was too old for her for a romantic relationship.

Triangular-shaped eyes would be a better way of putting it but I was just quoting how I'd read it.

@Tique  - I got the impression that Floyd and Janice had a romantic relationship in the past.  When he told David to stay away from her, I was expecting him to say she's taken or something like that.  I could be taking it the wrong way.

@twinsister  you're probably right. Floyd had that possessive thing going on which I happen to dislike.

I was going to leave one final thought about Dorina and it was going to be the nicest thing I could say. She looked very stylish when she left but she sure didn't leave with much. Then I realized she shouldn't have left with any more than she arrived with. The marriage was ending after a quick six months.

Re: THE FUGITIVE "THE HOMECOMING" DAVID JANSSEN SHIRLEY KNIGHT MONDAY 2:00 A.M. EASTERN ME

@twinsister. When Mr. Pruitt called the sheriff to the house, he mentioned that Janice needed some friends and that "you used to come around." The way he said it was like the sheriff used to come calling on Janice, like dating. And remember when the sheriff wanted to talk to Janice privately the first night she was home and Janice told him to call her the next day but he wanted to talk "now" ? He wanted to rekindle something. I loved when she was walking up to the house with Kimble and the sheriff grabbed her arm Kimble said "you're hurting her" and stood up to the sheriff saying he'd stop talking to Janice when SHE told him to. So there was some rivalry going on there; the sheriff was definitely interested in Janice but she wasn't in him (nor in Kimble other than as a kind person to talk to.)

@Pearlee - true - it did seem one sided.  If I was walking with David, I would have told the sheriff tomorrow also!!

How enjoyable to follow all the comments and sharp observations and wit you guys have provided on this episode!   Once again, I'm so benefitting by how observant everyone is...   Am going to have to go back and think some more...

Your final comment, is the ultimate capper,  @twinsister --  I laughed and said, "dittos" to the max-- who wouldn't stay by Kimble's side when given a choice!
