@Pearlee , one of the telling things from an interview I read with Diane Baker about the end of the show, contained a quote by her, something to the effect that she said "It was a job". It struck me in the context, that she was really saying "It was (just) a job", and I could be wrong, but came off as sort of dismissive to me! She had nothing much to add-- stories or comments on what it was like to be in on the end, etc.
She clearly had no sort of mystique for "The Fugitive", like diehard fans have. Which is fine, but it's interesting that, in the probably rushed and not-planned-for finale, they perhaps didn't show the care in casting that was evident througout the series.
Interesting you mention the "appearing more than once thing". In looking for something else "Fuge" on Wiki, I saw the list of actors (other than the principals) who'd appeared the most. The most appearances were by Richard Anderson (not surprised-- he was on 6 times), and Dabbs Greer (6). The actress who appeared the most was the beautiful Carol Rossen (5). I really liked her in the violin prodigy one, and she was good in the one where he breaks off with her and is suspected of her assault. I am surprised that she appeared the most of any actress:
