THE FUGITIVE DVDs AVAILABLE AT TARGET ONLINE ONLY

[ Edited ]

This post is "targeted" 😄 at @Oznell Fugitive group. Fuge DVD are available  at Target (online only). The single seasons (although some are split into 2 separate volumes) are $12.99 and the complete series is $44.99 and then another 5% off using a Target credit card and free S&H.

The loss of sound on the YouTube  version of Part 2 of the "Landscape" show finally prompted me to buy the whole series, even though I own Season 1 already.  And the editing out of some things on YouTube and MeTV is frustrating.  So I just purchased the whole series, due to arrive in two days  so I can hear what I missed Janssen saying in Part 2 of "Landscape."  And in the Marian Ross episode with Frank Aletter, I can determine whether Ross' part was cut in the YouTube version.

I just finished her autobiography. She worked with a lot of very famous people and was thankful to play the lesser roles. Her husband wasn't a dependable worker so she basically supported the family. In fact, Marion asked her father for her inheritance so she could put money down on their first home. I'm glad she fondly remembers her costars (although Tom Bosley was mean to her in the early seasons of Happy Days).

That's a great alert, @Pearlee , for our group and also what fun if people who've had just a taste of the series here and there, get the whole thing and get the "full" experience!

It's been so long since we bought the series, I can't remember what it cost then-- but that Target price you quote sounds very reasonable, better than what we had to fork over for sure.

@Oznell  I thought it very reasonable too, esp since there was another choice on the site for $122 plus change!  I am a bit concerned about the quality of the video but I can always return it to a Target store if I'm not happy with it.

@Pearlee  The entire series is sold at amazon for $44.83, though it may be a few dollars less buying the seasons individually at amazon.

@mousiegirl  I already ordered mine from Target. With my 5% discount my total including tax was $45 and change  so for me the Amazon one would be a tad more when you include tax. I don't order much from Amazon and a return (if necessary) is easier for me at Target; I live close to three of them.

Well, no "in process" or "preparing your item" for Target. My video has shipped. I ordered it just before I posted this thread this morning.  My free shipping is coming UPS, the fast shipper. Good job, Target.

Re: THE FUGITIVE DVDs AVAILABLE AT TARGET ONLINE ONLY

@Oznell   Asked me on another thread whether this set of TF has any extras or bonuses included.  On the cover it says Special Features Episodic Promo For Landscape With Running Figures and Composer Dominic Frontiere: Season Of Change And The Color Of Music

I have no idea what the latter is but I can't believe the coincidence that an extra involves the "Landscape"  2-parter that we are currently discussing on another thread, Part II having been on MeTV last night! Wow!  I haven't watched anything from this set yet, having just received it Saturday, but I imagine that the 2-part episode was heavily promoted (Kimble with Gerard's wife!) so it's the promo on TV in 1965 when the episode aired. I'll let you know exactly what it is after I watch it.

These are labeled CBS DVDs so I expect their  quality to be fine. Given the low price I paid for the set I was concerned about that.

Oh, great, thanks @Pearlee  for reporting back on that.  It IS an amazing coincidence!   And for some reason, that thing about composer Dominic Frontiere rings a faint bell!! Could it be my ancient DVD set has that as well?   I will have to try and dig it out-- not sure where it is, but will look.   But I didn't remember anything on it about "Landscape".   Will report back when I find out....

@Oznell  It was an amazing coincidence. It has been over half a century that I didn't buy the complete series (not that there were DVDs all that time) and there were 120 episodes of TF. Yet out of the clear blue sky I decide to buy it after seeing it on the Target site (which I've maybe looked at three times EVER) and the extra is about the episode we are discussing currently. Weird!
