TCM - Until They Sail

If anyone is interested, will be on tomorrow, Wednesday at 11:45 AM Eastern.  

 

It's the story of four sisters in New Zealand during WWII.  Stars a very young Paul Newman (he looks so handsome in uniform), Joan Fontaine, Jean Simmons, Piper Laurie and Sandra Dee in her first role.

 

By today's standards it is dated, but I recommend it if you haven't seen it.   I'll be watching again.

Thanks, @twinsister,  I agree, that is a really riveting movie, with all the sister "drama".  I also like the unusual setting in New Zealand...

A favorite of mine. I am a fan of TCM. Great movies better than the stuff on regular channels.

This has nothing to do with this movie but let's get ready for the Christmas ones to start. Can't wait. Get your dvr ready.
