TCM The Heart Is Lonely Hunter

[ Edited ]
So enjoying the month of Oscars. This sweet 1968 film. Showcases several outstanding actors. Alan Arkin one of my favorite. Sondra Locke Stacy Keach. Thank Goodness! We have classic films.

I love Alan Arkin too, Sweet Serenity.  He is so sensitive and wonderful as "Mr. Singer"  (I think that was his name) in this film...

Re: TCM The Heart Is Lonely Hunter

I watched it this morning and sobbed brokenly.  Much of the story reflects parts of Carson McCullers' life.

The South produced some solid writers.

Broke my heart !!! Read up on the writer. Tragic story passed away young 50 believe? Seems she had struggles to. But don't we all? Some worse than others. Yes! Wanted to restart the film have then end up together. sigh..........
