Aww..... Richard Erdman. Just saw him on a video-a talk show. He was 80 something and seemed just the same, a little older. And Jan Michael Vincent. He finally got his death wish. Altho I think he changed his mind not long ago. I think Doris Day makes me the saddest.

Thanks

These are so well done.  @Judaline, I caught Richard Erdman too-- such a sprightly character actor, in everything from film noir to "Perry Mason" episodes...

Re: TCM Remembers 2019 YouTube

@Oznell  Hope you caught Richard Erdman in Stalag 17, one of my favorite, favorite movies. He varied his role in this in a more serious vein. He played Hoffy and he and his cohorts were constantly planning their escape and driving the Krauts crazy. He's usually somebody's sidekick, isn't he, always a co-star, always a wise cracker and all around fun guy, lol. Makes me smile just thinking of  him. RIP

Re: TCM Remembers 2019 YouTube

I must have forgotten him in that, @Judaline -- it's been too many years since I saw that film, and only caught fragments of it, at that.  Now that I know he's in it, will look for him.  That is such a good movie, don't know why I've managed to mostly stay away from it!
