7:30 A.M.  The Kennel Murder Case features William Powell as Philo Vance, detective (1933)

9:00 A.M. The Great Zigfield with Mryna Loy and Louise Rainier (Academy Award for this). (1936)

12:00 P.M. The Thin Man. First of the series that paired William Powel and Mryna and Nick and Nora with Asta the dog. (1934)

2:00 P.M.  Another Thin Man (1939)

4:00 P.M.  I Love You Again (1940)  Mryna Loy and Frank McHugh are great in this light hearted comedy with William Powell. The plot is a hoot. Frank McHugh is one of the best supporting actors in the 30's and 40's. 

6:00 P.M.  Libeled Lady (1936)   William Powell shares the bill with Mryna Loy, Spencer Tracy and Jean Harlow. Such an enjoyable movie! 

8:00 P.M.  The Senator Was Indiscreet (1947) This is one I have not seen!

9:45 P.M.  Life With Father  (1947) Irene Dunne and Elizabeth Taylor 

12:00 A.M. One Way Passage (1932). with Kay Francis. Excellent drama about two people who meet on a cruise ship. 

1:30 A.M.  Jewel Robbery. (1932)

3:00 A.M.  Reckless (1935

4:45 A.M. High Pressure

All are good and my recorder is locked and loaded!  Enjoy!

That's a date that must be kept, @TexasMom1 !   Love him too--  he's so elegant, fun, gifted.  And as good as he was with comedy, he was truly an all-around talent.

He is one of my all-time favorites!  I have all the Thin Man movies  on DVDs and watch them over and over again - such an elegant man -
