@Pearlee  Do you think Tony Curtis was miscast in this? I kind of do. He was great in the part and his looks suited the real guy well enough, but I don't know if I like him as a meanie. He sure gave me goosebumps. He can play scary.

@Judaline  Yes,absolutely. I have always thought he was miscast but, as you say, did a good acting job. He was just too pretty for the role and it was hard to get into him being evil. I remember the real De Salvo and he looked tough and mean.

It's a cold winter night and these movies are perfect to check out with some popcorn and a warm blanket.  I hope I can sleep good!!!!!!

Re: TCM CRIME NIGHT THURSDAY

I remember going to see The Boston Strangler at the movies when it first came out, and I was a little disappointed so i haven't seen it much since, and not in years. I should probably watch it again to see if I like it any better.

Re: TCM CRIME NIGHT THURSDAY

@Pearlee  Hmmmmm, come to think of it you could be right........

Spoiler

Tom Berenger had a very small part in the movie as the murderer.  Never dawned on me he would be MG since he couldn't perform.

Interesting........
