Sweeny Todd

Watching it now on TCM. It is my one of my son's favorite musical. It is good. I like the way the ladders are moved around. This is the one with Angela Lansbury. I was kinda disappointed in her. Kinda like Mrs. Fletcher does community theater in Cabot Cove.

Have you seen the one with Johnny Depp?  I haven't yet and wondered if it was too violent?

I've only seen the one with Johnny Depp.  IMO, Alan Rickman makes the movie.  He was one of my favs.

I've seen the movie with Johnny Depp, and I don't remember it being violent, but I haven't seen it recently.  Still, something tells me it isn't violent.
