Re: Susan Lucci and Christy...

I stand by what I said previously.  I think they both look beautiful.  But there are different kinds of beauty.  Of course they have had work done.  Everyone can see that.  So has Dolly Parton.  She's old too.

I also thought that Betty White was beautiful.  She reminded me a little of my grandmother who I loved so much.  There are different kinds of beauty.  I personally will not have these procedures done.  I want to look like me however that may turn out to be.

I feel sorry for these women who have been in the spotlight all there adult lives and feel they have to "keep it going" in the public eye.  I want to eat a donut too.  I just think that regular people don't have this pressure to be something they aren't to feel good about themselves.  It is shallow, and there is a beauty that comes from within.  Would I like to look like I did when I was 30ish?  Maybe.  But I like who I have grown to be inside a whole lot better. Well, Susan Lucci thinks she looks good, She really needs a good hair cut and conditioning treatment.

Re: Susan Lucci and Christy...

Well, I have had enough surgeries in my life that I would never opt for something so shallow and unneeded as plastic surgery. All surgery scares me. However, I have to say I'd kill for a tight neck like Susan's. If Dr. MCCoy could wave that weird instrument over me and smooth out my neck, I'd be thrilled. Star Trek nation has its good side.

I remember she used to sell a hair-care line on QVC and they were good products.

They both look beautiful, but Susan doesn't look anything like her former self at a younger age.  Christy looks pretty much the same as she did eons ago.

My point is "tweaking" is different than "renovating."

Re: Susan Lucci and Christy...

I have seen some beautiful older women who may have done a few things, but are smart enough to not do too much. Maria, the older blonde model at QVC is beautiful. Susan Lucci  just looks overdone, Christy looks plumped up, a little to much with fillers. Its a shame. They are never going to look 20 or 30 again no matter what they do.

The above photo of Lucci is a wig. The hair looks like vinyl. You can see the wig line on her upper forehead.

Maybe it's much to early in the game,ah but I thought I'd ask you just the same
