Yesterday saw the mighty OTEV make his annual appearance for the POV comp. Christie now understands why she was nominated by America, it's because she had prayed to play in the OTEV comp and with Tommy as HOH he wouldn't nominate her, so she manifested America to vote for her to be put up so she'd be sure to play. (Not really. We just wanted her on the block and off the feeds, and ideally out of the house.)
Jackson is the only one of the three who were sent on the field trip to accept that they were hated by America. Analyse just can't believe that anyone would hate her when there are so many other despicable people in the house like that Nicole or Cliff. Christie now knows it was all God's way of getting her to play in OTEV. Jackson's like, "No, America hates us that's why they sent us on the field trip."
For those unfamiliar with OTEV, the houseguests start out at the top of a ramp, OTEV gives them a message that's a clue for the name of a houseguest they're to return with and the last one who returns each round is eliminated. They then slide down the ramp, hunt through names in the area to find the right name, climb back up the ramp using a rope and take their place in front of OTEV and reveal the name they returned with.
Smarter players gather up a bunch of names and stash them in one spot while watching to be sure they aren't last up the ramp. This way in later rounds they can dive right to their stash of names, find it quickly, and be back to claim the win. Kat was using that strategy, but more on that later.
Jackson was the first one out of the OTEV comp and is pretty unhappy about that. On the first round Cliff apparently face-planted on the way down the ramp and injured his neck/back/arms somehow, but still managed to beat Jackson. On the second round the final two to the ramp were Cliff and Kat and Kat apparently bumped Cliff out of the way and grabbed the rope and was very, very apologetic to Cliff afterwards.
In the next round Christie bit the dust and that left Nick, Tommy and Kat as the final three. Nick had been first or second back each time so he hadn't been taking the time to build a stockpile of names, but he apparently watched from the top of the ramp as Kat made her stash and on the third round he beat her to her stash of names and took the name from her pile instead of searching for it. Kat was eliminated. That left it between Tommy and Nick and Nick may have then thrown it to Tommy to get the win.
So, with Tommy as the POV winner, Christie will come down and either Kat or Cliff will be heading to the jury this week. Some are hoping that since Christie was put up by America the POV can't be used on her, but that's really hoping for a lot and has never happened before. Why let her play in the POV if the POV couldn't be used on her? No. Christie will come down. She's sure she manifested the whole thing. (Well, she did make much of America hate her, so she's right about that part.) According to Christie, Tommy only won because she manifested it and now justice has been restored to the house. One of Tommy's nominees will be leaving and Christie will be staying.
This will make for a boring week of feed watching as we'll be on cruise control now until Thursday. Tommy still wants to reunite with Jackson and Holly and form a new six with Nick in tow. Jackson absolutely refuses to even consider it as he hates Christie too much to be willing to do anything with her at this point. He told Holly he'd rather play alone rather than work with Christie again. Nick wants a six person alliance but wants Nicole and Cliff brought in so the six would be split along two lines with Nick, Cliff and Nicole competing against Tommy, Christie and Analyse at the end. (Probably not going to happen.)
Nick wants Kat gone because of Jessica and her girl power theme. He's afraid if they vote out Cliff this week only he, Jackson and Tommy will remain against the six girls and Jackson's not on their side and would likely put up Tommy and Christie and the girls could vote out Tommy. Leaving just Nick against Jackson with the girls targeting them both.
So, the rest of this week will be kind of boring in all likelihood. Tommy will use his POV to save Christie, who inher mind anyway manifested the whole thing. A debate will rage as to whether to vote out Cliff or Kat. (It'll likely be Kat since Tommy and Nick both want Kat gone.) Fake deals will be struck with both Kat and Cliff making them think they might be safe, but neither will truly believe it. Then on Thursday one of them will be off to the jury to await a likely battle back comp in the future.
We have a show tonight. On tonight's show we'll see the aftermath of Tommy winning HOH. We'll see the houseguests get informed that America's been voting. We'll see the happiness of the three who hear they've been singled out by America. Then we'll see the realization that this wasn't necessarily a good thing. Then we'll see their egg competiton. (It was the chicken wire comp but with a ramp added somehow.) We'll see Jackson win the comp and become safe. Analyse come in second and get her chicken outfit. (She now has to cluck like a chicken on command and then lay an egg (somehow) and cook it afterwards. She was unhappy in just the cosutme yesterday. The extra bits now added on are making her even less happy. We'll see Christie lose the comp and become the automatic nominee. Assuming they've dried off the cameras and equipment from Christie's flood of tears afterwards, we'll see her decrying how unfair it is and how this wasn't meant to be. (Now, of course, all we hear is how it was her destiny and she manifested the whole thing.) Then we'll see Tommy make his nominations and the show will end.
The good news is I have to watch a lot less of the feeds this week, so that opens up time for other things. At least until Thursday night when things might pick up a bit again. In all likelihood Kat will be leaving this week which takes away one of the more fun people in the house to watch. There is no way Christe won't let Tommy use the POV on her. Then on Thursday we have a new HOH comp. Ideally someone in the Cliff/Kat, Nicole, Jackson, Holly, or Jessica side wins and not Analyse, Christie or Nick. (A nomination of Christie and Nick could be kind of fun next week.) Expect the rest of this week to be kind of boring. It would be hilarious if they could somehow convince Tommy to keep Christie on the block and take down Cliff or Kat, but unless they drug/hypnotize Tommy and gag Christie, that's highly unlikely.
A hypnotist in the BB house as a houseguest could be kind of entertaining. Just a note for future casting.

Tommy just said that he didn't know the first person to enter the house never won. (He was the first to enter the house.) What he may not know is that the OTEV winner has never won BB. He's facing a double whammy.
Cliff now has his right calf and left elbow both wrapped. If he hangs around much longer he may end up in a full body cast.

Even the house is attacking Cliff. They have an raised platform in the living room that you have to step up on leaving the bedrooms and down from heading to the kitchen. Yesterday morning when Cliff was leaving his bedroom his sandal got caught on a piece of flooring that overhung the step and took a fall reinjuring his calf. It also broke the overhanging piece of flooring off. Then he took a fall in the OTEV comp where he hurt his arm. (Maybe also his neck and back?) It hasn't been a great couple of days for Cliff.

It's show time! We start with the typical recap and opening. (Better raise your TV's a bit higher so Christie's tears don't flood it when she finds herself on the block tonight.) The show opens with Tommy celebrating his HOH. He says the Six Shooters are coming back together. We see Analyse and Christie celebrating and Christie talking about being rewarded by the universe. Kat says Tommy winning HOH is her worst case scenario. Oh joy, they showed a short clip of Christie eating with her mouth wide open. Tommy tells Jackson he won't put up a Six Shooter. Time for a break.
08-11-2019 08:18 PM
And we're back. Christie talks with Tommy. She says she knows she's safe this week. They talk about putting up Cliff and Kat. Tommy says Kat has to go. Now Cliff meets with Tommy. Tommy tells Cliff he's not the target this week even if he ends up on the block. Tommy meets with Kat. She lies and promises she would never put him up. Tommy's also lying to Kat who knows he's lying. Time for another break.
08-11-2019 08:27 PM
Back again. Time for the house to learn about the field trip. The houseguest's images are like the wheels on a slot machine spinning then stopping one by one to show who was selected. They're all so happy! (For now!) Now, they're not so happy as the rules are read. Jackson's first, Analyse second and Christie third. Jackson knows it's bad but he wants to be safe. Christie's upset and crying. (Surprise.) Jackson and Holly know they can get Christie on the block and Jackson's happy about that. Analyse volunteers to throw the comp so she'd be nominate, but Tommy says not to, but it's the best case scenario. More tearful Christie. More cud chewing Christie also. Time for another break.
08-11-2019 08:41 PM
Time for the road trip comp. It's the egg and chicken wire comp. Analyse plans to throw the comp. Jackson realky wants to win. Everyone else is inside watching on the TV. Jackson explains how hard the comp is. They have to knock down the latters S A F E and Jackson's got the S, A and F. Analyse has one letter down also. Jackson wins safety! Analyse is finding it hard to play badly enough to lose to Christie. Jackson teaches Analyse about shaking the egg, but Christie doesn't pick up on it. And Analyse finishes second. Christie is the third nominee! Jackson thanks America. Christie is in tears yet again. She figured out that America hates her. Time for another break.
08-11-2019 08:53 PM
We're back again for more of Christie's breakdown. Tommy says it's jot because America hates you guys. Jackson says, oh yes it is. Kat's joking about the universe bringing it to her and manifesting the whole thing. Jackson and Holly celebrate in the storeroom. Cliff and Nicole are happy also. Now Analyse tells Tommy that Christie was so bad she couldn't throw it. And her comes Christie and her tears. (Again.) Nick swears he'll use the POV on Christie. Analyse gets her chicken suit. Nicole's fear of birds has her rattled. Kat visits Tommy. Kat offers a deal to keep Christie safe by pointing out that if she's not on the block she'd vote to save Christie. (Then says maybe not.) Time for one final break then the nominations.
