Re: Steven Tyler on Ellen (5/24/16)

I miss all those bad boy rockers too..eric clapton, led zep, the stones, jimi hendrix, deep purple and of course aerosmith. I like a lot of todays music, but it just cant compare to music from the 1970s and late 1960s. I saw aerosmith in 1978 and lost my mind!! Saw them again a few years ago while they were on tour and they havent lost it musically. At least not to me. They are old...and not in a good way. They have not aged well, but hey, thats what that type of lifestyle can do. I still listen to the music, in the car, turned ALL the way up! Yep, I am an annoyance on the road and an embarrassment to my young adult children and so what Smiley Wink. Rock on Mr Tyler!

Re: Steven Tyler on Ellen (5/24/16)

I was never a fan of Aerosmith; Joe Perry was hot, and a few songs were good...THEN Steven Tyler was a judge on American Idol, and I developed a huge crush on him!! Now I wish I had paid more attention to both of them back in the 80's.

One thing I remember about him is his children really love him.  Another thing is he came out publicly when people found out his daughter was a plus size model and he talked about how beautiful she is and how proud he was of her.  That's a good Dad.

I love him and Aerosmith! I think his voice is brilliant! Does he look old? Yup.

Steven Tyler needs to recognize that he's no longer a sex symbol at 68 years old.  He looks awful!!!  He also can't sing.

That part is not true.  I saw him perform on one of the music award shows last year and he sang "Dream On."  I thought he would skip the final 8-octave "dream on" at the end, but he didn't.  He sang it strong, loud, and perfectly!!

@LilacTree - Thank you!  He sang it live when a friend and I saw Aerosmith in concert, too.  There was nothing wrong with his voice!

I just read one of my People Magazines.  They did a nice story on him about helping abused young girls.  It's a good article.
