@bmorechick wrote:I miss all those bad boy rockers too..eric clapton, led zep, the stones, jimi hendrix, deep purple and of course aerosmith. I like a lot of todays music, but it just cant compare to music from the 1970s and late 1960s. I saw aerosmith in 1978 and lost my mind!! Saw them again a few years ago while they were on tour and they havent lost it musically. At least not to me. They are old...and not in a good way. They have not aged well, but hey, thats what that type of lifestyle can do. I still listen to the music, in the car, turned ALL the way up! Yep, I am an annoyance on the road and an embarrassment to my young adult children and so what
. Rock on Mr Tyler!
Well said @bmorechick! My favorite music is late 60's and 70's and Aerosmith is, was and always will be one of my favorite bands.

OK, I'm reporting someone to QVC! Who put Steven Tyler's head on my body?
This picture was taken when I was vacationing recently in Bali with my entourage.

I love Steven Tyler. He has a great rock/blues voice, plays more than one instrument, the piiano being number 1, and he is an outstanding song writer. I saw Aerosmith on their tour a few years ago. He puts on a great show full of energy and sass. So he looks old...big deal. He's almost 70 and still keeping on. He and his bandmates have had a very long run, and they still do it old style: no lip synching, no canned background music, real instruments and no gimmicks. When he goes out on tour, his body is lean and muscular because he works out beforehand. The picture above is from the off seasons of touring. LOL. I read his autobiography, Does The Noise In My Head Bother You? a few years back, and I have to say he writes kind of the way he talks and certainly the way he thinks...very stream of consciousness and melodic. I'd say he captured the true Steven in that book, warts and all.

Sadly, I have to say that most of us look old when we get to our late 60's! I am just glad that I did make it to my late 60's!!
I like some of his songs from back in the day, but it is sad when old rockers lose their voices but don't realize it! I could sing when I was younger, but I now sound like a croaking frog when I try to sing.
Tyler isn't a cutie anymore, but he still seems to have charisma. JMO!
