Yes most definitely a fan, of their songs together and separately like Eydie's Blame it on the Bossa Nova. Thank you for letting us know, it's set to tape.

I believe they were both on the Steve Allen Tonite Show. It's probably how they met.

Love him, her not so much. There was another girl singer on the show I liked but can't think of her name now.

Oh, remember them both, especially, Edie and The Bosa Nova.  Fun. @twinsister

I loved The Nanny~but I don't ever recall that he played her dad. I must have missed those episodes!

A new PBS Special - Steve & Edyie - Memories of my Mom and Dad hosted by their son David will begin airing on PBS stations nationwide the weekend of Dec. 2nd. There will be clips from their appearances on variety shows, etc.  It will be repeated during the holiday season.  Here in NYC it will air on Saturday at 7PM.

I'm a fan and remember seeing them on Ed Sullivan and other variety shows in the 1960's  and their songs "Blame it on the Bossa Nova" and "Go Away Little Girl".

My DVR is set.  Anyone else a fan?

Yes, Steve played Fran's father Morty Fine in a few Nanny episodes, in particular he was in the one where she got married, and one where Sylvia was about to cheat on him. it was Renee Taylors real life hubby who played her impending lover.

Remember years ago Steve and Edyie lost their son, he suddenly collapsed and passed away.

Steve's father was a Cantor in a Brooklyn synagogue, his real birth name is Sidney Liebowitz. Edyie was Jewish of Turkish descent.
