Re: Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy

i think the crossovers are good for both shows. it opens the door for more diverse plots and creativity. station 19 would need to be the 1st show, to set the drama of how something happened(bear attack) and grey's to cure, etc. the problem. i think both shows can stand alone. i've watched grey's from the beginning and will watch until the end. they have lost many characters and bounced back. if and when it's canceled i doubt the replacement will be as good, just more stupid sitcoms or singing and dancing.

The 2 shows are now literally now morphed into one, the characters are blended now and so are the stories, I do like Station 19, and like you said, almost forced into watching it. Ellen Pompeo is Exec Prod, that says it all.

Chi Med is having lots of crossovers now too with the other Chi shows, I only watch Med, so most of the time I dont watch their crossovers at all. Another one this Wed.

Re: Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy

I may be in the minority here.

Now that I discovered it, I actually like Station 19 a bit better than Grey's. I don't mind the crossovers at all. I think of it as a 2 hour movie. The first hour is S19, and the second is Grey's.

I'm wondering if I missed something though. Do we know what's causing Sullivan's pain?

There was an episode a few weeks ago, where he went to see Dr Karasik at Grey Sloan, and evidently he has been treating him for a good while for a nerve disorder, he told him that was the final time he would refill his pain meds. I think he said he needs to stop working and Sullivan refused. It was either that or he told him he needed some kind of surgery and he refused, either way it would apparently end his career.

Last week Sullivan stole two vials of fentanyl. If an audit is done Warren could be in trouble. I was hoping this would be addressed in tonight's episode. There are a lot of unlikeable people on Station 19.

Not sure why this was promoted as a crossover. I haven't seen any of the same characters in either show. Oh that's right. Both shows were focused on the same night when there was a blizzard in Seattle.

ETA: The last five minutes of Grey's, they tied in the two shows.

@Tique: I agree there are several unlikeable characters on Station 19. I don't particularly care for Andy's father. He's supposed to be retired but continues to show up at the station and meddle in everything. Another is the female firefighter (don't know her name) who was romantically involved with the fire chief who passed away last season. She always seems to have a bad attitude.

I've noticed, in the last two episodes, the injuries are becoming more and more graphic. Last week, it was the bear attack. Last night, the guy with the gruesome foot injury... UGH!!! Smiley Surprised.  And...on top of that, we were expected to stay tuned to Grey's Anatomy for the conclusion. I stopped watching after twenty minutes. Don't know if I'll watch again.

Re: Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy

I've never watched Grey's Anatomy.  I have watched Station 19 from the beginning but it's wearing very thin. I don't like the crossovers.

The dark haired woman on Station 19, her Dad was captain, was on Rosewood with Morris Chestnut.. Loved him but didn't care for her on that, and she's more annoying now.

I really dislike the blonde character, that was made captain.

I figured out that I don't like dealing with really intense people in my real life and these characters are beyond intense.  I'm surprised they have the energy to fight a fire with all the hanky panky going on.

I do like Montgomery.

I like both shows. Next week on Greys we will get closure on the missing Dr Alex Karev, and he will be on the show, I assume it is his last episode.
