Did anyone else here watch St Elsewhere? There was an episode where a guy was a patient and always thought he was someone else. Once he thought he was John McEnroe and then one time he thought he was Mary Richards. Betty White was a guest star as a secret service agent, and when the guy saw her he exclaimed "Sue Ann! It's me! Mary Richards!" So funny!

How I loved "St. Elsewhere," too!

I do not remember that episode.  Darn, I must have missed it.

I was a St Elsehere fan from the get go in 1982, fab cast too!! The writing was way ahead of its time!!

St Elsewhere is one of my very favorite shows EVER. The role BW played in St Elsewhere was a serious one; she was in the military.

My fav ST Elsewheres (actually 2) are the series finale and the one where Dr. Ficus has an out of body experience in the ER.

Maybe it's much to early in the game,ah but I thought I'd ask you just the same

@cookinfreak That show was the best, launched several careers. How the show ended was unfortable. And yes I do remember the Betty White storyline. I believe Mary Tyler Moore's husband had ties to that show, maybe producer?

This was one of my very favorite shows!  I never missed it!  I, however, don't remember this --- I wish I did!  I would love to see re-runs of this series --- does anyone know if they are showing any place?  That must have been a hoot and I'm sure I loved that at the time!

@AngelPuppy1

I have never seen reruns anywhere of St Elsewhere and I have looked many times. I also tried to buy the complete DVD series but all I can find are Season 1 and Season 6. Don't have many tv series on DVD but would love to have this one!.
