Our ESPN 1 & 2, came back on, this afternoon. I can't wait to see or hear what the new $$ will be.

Today I cancelled spectrum TV and home phone.  I kept their internet.  I was a long time hold out on cutting the cord and signed up for UTube Tv, a lot of money saved, as my cable bill was reaching 300.00 in my area.  Everyone is happy and I can have 3 different people using my account.  Returned my equipment to a UPS store and they said that just today they probably had 200 people returning their cable boxes. I do not care about ESPN or football, this was totally about money.  Spectrum created their own Bud Light moment.

l am returning my cable boxes tomorrow !  My bill was 220 just for internet and basic cable . l kept the internet , it's the only really good one around here . l have hulu , disney + ,peacock, and discovery  for 20 bucks a month and get Prime video with my Amazon account . So 130 for cable minus 20 for streaming services saves me 110 bucks a month ! happy don't watch much sports .

@annie-g

I don't blame you for cutting the cord. We did that a couple of years ago. We also changed our Internet when they installed Fiber Optics. We got rid of our home phone which I forgot about. I guess that's about a $250 per month savings.

We just got tired of paying DISH with no incentives except to new customers. Didn't like when they had disputes so they turned off channels. I can find more TV to watch streaming vs having DISH. I just can't record stuff but I don't miss any of it.

We don't need sports channels either I do like watching the Olympics when they are on.

I am so mad.   I don't care about ESPN.  I do care about Freeform.  That did not come back.  I don't even care about the Disney channel.

Freeform we liked for the 13 days of Halloween and 25 days of Christmas.

They said they will be giving us Disney Plus!   Who cares.

I shut down my Direct TV almost 5 years ago and have never looked back or regretted it for a minute.  I've got more TV  to watch than evrer before

We dropped our cable (Comcast) back in January and just kept their Internet.  Monthly bill went from $224 to $82.

The only regret is I wish I had done it much sooner.

I was not at all happy to lose Freeform either! One of my favorite channels during the holiday season.  I think all the movies on Freeform are probably available via Disney+ but I like just seeing what is on via a guide not searching for a particular movie.  I feel sorry for the elderly who do not stream.

I also received a follow-up email from Spectrum that they will be giving an automatic credit to accounts for lost days of programming (probably a $1.00 LOL)

My missing channel was not restored.  It was just reruns of old comedy shows but I watched it all the time.

We didn't get the Freeform channel back either. There's a message explaining it when I go to that channel, but I don't really understand it. I have watched some movies and shows on both Freeform & Disney. We like college football so we're glad the ESPN, ACC, and SEC channels are back. I'm sure when all is said and done, the consumer will pay more.
