@wilma    Thank you for the info.  Years ago my husband and I were able to meet Maria Von Trapp.  She was out in the country lecturing about her family and the true story of their lives.   She was a very sweet lady, but strong of spirit.

Not too long ago I realized that a couple of the children from The Sound of Music also guest starred on The Brady Bunch.  Friedrich played Doug Simpson in the episode where Marcia got her nose hit by a football, and Gretl played one of Jan's friends who thought Greg had a crush on her, but it was actually Peter who had the crush.  I'd seen those Brady Bunch episodes lots of times and thought the actors looked familiar, but couldn't place them.
