I'd like to see a separate forum devoted to just the "Soaps".

Makes sense to me.

I'd vote for that.

Good idea.

GH has one thread and Days of Our Lives has two, hardly a hardship.
It's Y&R and it's almost always the same person starting a new thread for every little thing. I think it might be more efficient to give that poster a separate forum than to give it to the soaps.

That's a good point, Lori. It causes the forum to seem thread-bombed with soap threads when it's just one specific area.
I even saw one where the OP put 'spoilers' in the thread title and then put the actual spoilers IN the thread title too. What the heck? All I could think was that I was glad I didn't watch that show!

You all are right there should be a forum that says Soaps therefore we would not drive others crazy or seem to hog the hold forum.
I remember that one where I had Spoiler in title, and one of those that hold grudges, replied in the thread real Spoiler, (I try not to hold grudges once I get if off my chest it is over...) so I thank them.
There is room for all of us...

Lori, I understand your point but if onlyposter starts a thread for each particular soap, it would only work if said poster does not feel they can dictate their feelings about what another poster can do as long as qvc guidelines are met. No bullying for ownership of the thread. I'm not talking about any poster on here. I've just had a bad experience with another group which is what prompts my concern. As it is now, a person can either post on a given thread or start their own.

I understand what you're saying too, Foxxie. No easy answer.
Funny thing is I stopped watching DAYS and since Justin Hartley was brought on as Adam I've gone back to Y&R. But there are so many threads I have no desire to figure out what to read and where to post.
So maybe a Soaps Forum is the answer. People who desire it should post that in the suggestion forum because that's how the book forum was created; it resulted from repeated requests of webbie in the suggestion forum.
