@Love to Run @Agreed! I have enjoyed him, he is funny and prepared. It was wise of nbc to hire him! I have younger friends that are tuning in just to see him!
I am also impressed with Flava Flav involvement. Job well done.

She is being paid to live "tweet" on X about many events.
From NBC: "Jones live-tweets multiple events, playing the role of everyfan. She pays equal attention to smaller niche sports, like fencing, as she does to bigger ones like basketball."
NBC is smart covering multiple social media bases.
She's hysterical! Of course, you need to access X to see these.
She also has a big commercial deal Google AI and you have no doubt seen her ads!
Found that quote on Forbes, but not on any NBC site so far. I'll keep looking. Unsure if Forbes has sourced data on that quote or not.
Not sure she is being paid to tweet...? Perhaps this is the happy medium to their ongoing copyright claims that took her posts down in previous games. I do seek out her posts, because I find her to be very entertaining and authentic with her love of the games.
Google wouldn't be an NBC arrangement even though the topic is Olympics, but glad she received external endorsements funds. Saw those commercials.
There was one pre-Games video package with Ledecky that I saw. But that's all I've caught so far. I'll keep cruising around Peacock to see if there are any others.
Just saying that (to me) she seems to have started this recent genre of celeb Games correspondent, and there are *a lot of men* jumping on the bandwagon and getting the benefits. Colin, Snoop, Kevin Hart, and Kenan. Which other celebrity women have been fan ambassadors during the TV broadcasts? NBC was more than happy to ride Leslie's coattails in Rio when her organic enthusiasm exploded & they flew her down to Rio for many special appearances and interviews. Since then, I'm not so sure she is getting the credit or financial windfall. She has said in years past how the Peacock show and having men on it, basically imitating her work in the previous Olympics, wasn't right.
Happy for Snoop and glad for the enthusiasm around the games. Just would like to see Leslie get more airtime, financial benefit & credit is all.
Again, JMO and ymmv.
ETA 8/8: Leslie just posted that she is on her way to Paris! Hope she gets as much airtime as Snoop and makes as much bank as he allegedly is.

I enjoy Snoop. There's no one like him. Did you see him in the pool with Phelps?

I like him and am really enjoying him at the Olympics.
$500k a day seems really exorbitant for a couple cameos a day. What are the real reporters making?
I read some athletes had to start go fund me accounts to get to the Olympics.

I saw last night one of the swim teams performed to one of his hit songs! Go ladies! That sport amazes me and is so beautiful!
