That book by Lee Grant is really good. She married a loser and a communist to boot. No wonder she was blacklisted and couldn't work for 12 yrs. 

 

Like most of these stars they make dumb decisions. He treated her like a dog. Horrible man.

Oh, it sounds so good, @SharkE .   Thank you for heads-up!  Have always found her to be an interesting actress.  You're right, it's so interesting that so many of them fall for extreme, so-called "utopian" schemes...  best guess is that so many are operating out of emotion, undeterred by facts!

Others have theorized that some have tremendous guilt about what they secretly regard as their "unearned" success, thus the constant "virtue signalling".....
