I am watching the show right now. Patrick is driving on the way to his first appointment with Dr. Now. He stopped at a Popeye's drive through for something to eat. The bill came to $97.11. It is only him and his wife.

It really does put in prospective how much he must eat.

Always am amazed at how much some can eat, especially on the way to an appt with Dr. Now!

Like a drug addict getting as much as they can for their final 'fix' knowing it's going to be their last one before going in to rehab (God willing).  I didn't watch.  Hope Patrick is successful and gets better.

I've always wondered how they keep the food down. Especially those that aren't able to get out of bed.

I think it is a repeat. They were showing original shows and then showing "Where are they now" shows following but I only caught a portion of his original show. Not sure if there was a follow up show.

And since it was shown on a Sunday night, I think it was a repeat. I think they show the new shows on a weekday evening.

I never understood the appeal of "reality shows" because we all know they aren't "real".

If this is what passes for entertainment these days, yikes!

Did not see the show with Patrick but always when I watched the shows,wonder how the heart keeps beating ,but usualy we  always see that the patient is just laying in a bed eating whatever they want. Don't  think they want to do the dieting for  weight loss  but more so the surgery to remove the excess skin.Just doesn't work that way think that kind of weight does need psychological help that's why Dr. N  does send  them to a psychologist and usually we hear they have had  some kind of abuse growing up.

Through the years I have read that some of these people that have been on the show are no longer alive. It's not really a surprise.
