Shades of Blue - Queston

I am a little confused about something.  At the end of last Sunday's show where Stahl was in her apt. holding a gun to her, what tipped Christina off when she came home that something was wrong?  What made her put her mom's gun in the back of her jeans so that when Harley hugged her Christina said to do it.  I listened to the tape a few times and could not figure out how Christina knew something was not right and her mom needed the gun.

We wondered that too and also replayed it a few times. We ended up guessing that Christina saw something out of the corner of her eye. She is her mother’s daughter! She sure showed amazing composure.

Christina heard Stahl's (along w/her mother's) voice as she walked down the hall from the front door to her bedroom.
