When I worked I used to make my own clothes.  I watched her all of the time.

 

I learned a lot of things from watching her.  I'm a visual learner.  I've never been able to follow directions.  When I sewed, I'd put it together like a puzzle.  However, I did follow the steps.  Nancy made me realize how important certain things are (rules to follow) when sewing.

 

Her voice was soothing (not loud and in your face).  I never felt like she was talking 'down' to her audience, just talking and making it simple so even a beginner could understand.

 

I'm sorry she is gone.  She was a good teacher.
