The season 2 premiere is already here! ![]()
(season 1 ended just last April)
Bless those writers and producers!
Episode 1 will air on January 8th, on HBO Max, at 9:00 PM.
Each episode covers one hour in the Emergency Department.
Season 2 takes place over a chaotic Fourth of July weekend, about ten months after season 1 ended.

My weekly schedule for this show:
Carefully watch each episode.
Breathe deep and calm down.
Google and read several recaps. (very helpful)
Read the dedicated Reddit threads.
(interesting & often followed by ER doctors and nurses)
*Note:
If you don't have or want to try HBO Max on it's own, it can be bundled with Hulu and Disney Plus starting at $19.99/month. That's less than getting all three separately.

@feline groovy Is HBO dropping 1 episode per week or does the entire second season drop so I can binge, binge, binge?
Love this show.

One episode each week, just like the "olden days".
Gives you something to look forward to.
Much of the show is too intense for binging anyway.
Viewers need a recovery period after each airing, LOL.

I binge watched the first season. It was good but I didn't like that each episode is only one hour of their daily activities. I would rather watch reruns of "Untold Stories of the ER". I find that more interesting because they are replaying actual events that happened in emergency rooms.

Just FYI, but many of the storylines on 'The Pitt' come from doctors and others directly connected to patient care who actually experienced the situation.
The show even has writers who are also doctors and wrote for the TV series 'E.R.' as well.
I've read many reviews from those who work in emergency departments and they have all said it's as close to real life as you can get.
Authenticity really matters to the series' producers and 'The Pitt' came about to show appreciation for frontline medical workers.

I understand what you are saying but I still find episodes of "Untold Stories of the ER" more interesting than this show.

I just saw season one on TNT, no HBO for me so hoping season 2 is on TNT at some point.
