I may have misspoke.  When I saw her on Ellen's show and on several other shows as a guest her hair was short.  Then when I saw her the other night on Scandal, it looked much longer.

I neglected to take into account that they were filmed at different times.

I like it much better short.  From what I can tell by researching the internet either she is letting it grow out some or she has amazing hairdressers who can take what appears to be a bit long into something that looks like what used to be called (similar) to a Duck's (butt).

It just looks like a bad wig to me.

I don't know about her hair but it looks like she has had a lot of plastic surgery....her eyes are unequal and she doesn't seem to move her facial muscles...very tight like early Joan

I still love the show... Still do not find Fitz attractive at all. DD watches and asked why him for the part?

Well, it's definitely realistic .... most politicians don't have movie star good looks.    I think Fitz is okay ... for a politician.

@SANNA ITA. This seems to be a running theme in Ms Rhimes's shows. They do so much so quickly that they do run out of ideas and then they begin to recyle plots. I know more than once I have been watching and thinking: Haven't I seen this before?

Who didn't know that Mellie would return to the WH and they would come up with a cover story about why Olivia had been lurking around so much? For that matter, who didn't know that Jake would reappear when Olivia got herself in that mess? It's become quite predictable.

Actually, those are my thoughts too.  DH and DD do not care for him or his looks... I should tell DD that the aristocratic looks of our founding fathers were not what one would typically call "handsome" or "movie-star."

This is why I will continue to watch and not let it bother me!

Also, thoughts on the Shonda Rimes writers... Grey's Anatomy will go from hot to cold and back for me.  When they stepped up the story by adding Gina Davis, the episodes were so good.

Maybe they will come up with SOMETHING for "Scandal."

Living in the Washington, DC area you see a lot of politicians, especially when walking around DC.  Our TV's are inundated with politics and political people.

I think that is a correct statement.  You do see very few attractive people in politics.

I just watched a blip of the kennedy era and they were saying one reason he was so popular was his age, the timing, the fact that he was (by many standards) attractive (compared to say Lyndon Johnson).

There aren't many like him (looks).

I'm watching this show and just realized: I no longer like Olivia. That makes me a little sad.

I was one of those women in the 50,s and we had no help.  You had to have friends and family to help. I did.  I was almost murdered fro my children,s Father, but got out the first time I was severely beaten and everything in my home destroyed.  No job and three babies.  God, women had no escape in those days, but their wits and determination.by
