I know I'm in the minority but I'm getting tired of the back and forth romance of those two.  I liked it better when it was less out in the open and more mysterious.  This new 'thing' makes it less believable.

I watched an Ellen show a few months ago and all of the "Scandal" people were on there.  Now you guys know how much I like the background stuff but sometimes when you see the main characters hugging and talking about how much they love each other and how difficult it was for the two 'killers' to film their scenes without breaking out laughing and so on, it just makes it difficult to believe some of what they're acting out.

I don't usually watch Ellen but for some reason I happened on that show.  I wish I hadn't.

I still like the show but not as much as I used to.  I know it's stupid, they're actors and all that.  But all they talked about was how some hung out together and so on.

There's something to be said for a little mystery.  I know I'm being stupid but I had to say it.

@Annabellethecat66 you have an interesting perspective.  I don't have a problem seeing or reading about actors who have adversarial relationships on a show actually liking each other in real life.  For me if the actor is doing his job, I see him as the character he's playing not as whoever he is.

Friendships among a cast, no matter who is playing which role, is likely true, at least to some degree, of all shows and/or movies.

It was probably true when Kerry Washington played her character in Django Unchained and other actors she knew (and very possibly liked and/or respected) played roles adversarial to hers.

Sorry, I'm still a big fan of the show .........

A little tidbit for you ..... the actress who plays the ex VP who stabbed her gay husband, and now is a gossipy TV personality is Kate Burton .... and her father is none other than the late actor Richard Burton !!

Hey!  What did you think?

I thought that the blonde actress (who practically kicked Cyrus out of his position) is Portia de Rossi DEGENERES.

Thought she looked familiar...

Yes, I must admit, I'm getting tired of the "back and forth" romance.

You guys know how I always go on and on about how much I like 'behind the scenes' of a show, i.e. what's going on with who or what and so on.

However, (here it comes), I was turned off when they started talking about specific scenes (remember the one where he was pulling out her teeth, etc)?  They talked about how difficult it was to keep from laughing, etc.  I know you could say it brought up the fact that they are really good actors that they CAN do a scene like that if they ARE good friends, and I agree on that.

Perhaps it was because it was ALL of them.  I like a little mystery and I just felt like it was overkill having all of them there.

I just listened Friday to an interview Kerry Washington did with Entertainment Weekly (there was an audience to respond back and forth to).  She was wonderful!

She talked about something that she has been supporting for a long time called "The Purple Purse Project".  You guys should look it up.  Very interesting.  It helps women who are financially AND physically abused.  She said that there are many women who go back to their physically abusive spouses because financially they can't make it on their own because their partner cuts off their support, has burned their cars, unbelievable things to make them dependent on the abusive person.

I intend to look into it and perhaps send them some money.  I don't think the fact that they are financially abused is addressed enough (if at all).  People always say, "Why didn't she leave him if he was so bad"?  Well.....duh?

Anyway, I'm (yet again) getting off point.  She said the episode coming up this week is (she had to use 5 words) what you'd expect, shocking...and so on but she did say that Tony Goldwyn is directing this episode and a lot of it has to do with Mellie.

Yes, most of us know that is Ellen's wife (I think they got married).

At least her wig she wears on the show looks good.  Most of the wig wearers on all shows look atrocious.  I'll address that later.  Ha!

I may have misspoke.  When I saw her on Ellen's show and on several other shows as a guest her hair was short.  Then when I saw her the other night on Scandal, it looked much longer.

I neglected to take into account that they were filmed at different times.

I like it much better short.  From what I can tell by researching the internet either she is letting it grow out some or she has amazing hairdressers who can take what appears to be a bit long into something that looks like what used to be called (similar) to a Duck's (butt).

It just looks like a bad wig to me.
