Saw the movie 8th Grade

Saw 8th Grade last evening with 3 lady friends. Two of them are retired grade school teachers and the other a retired teacher's aide. They enjoyed it. I was bored. I suppose their former occupations made the difference in how we perceived the movie. The girl who played the lead I must say was a fabulous actress and I think she's only 15 years old. It has great reviews on Rotten Tomatoes but it just didn't do anything for me.
