Yesterday saw Jessica nominate Jack and Jackson with the plan being to vote out Jack, or if he comes down with the POV, Tommy. Worst case scenario is they get rid of Jackson. Christie meanwhile is desperate to keep Jack and thinks they have the votes to keep him if he stays on the block. Despite swearing she wouldn't use her power, she now says she will if Christie, Jack, Nick or Tommy (maybe Analyse?) wins POV. Then she can put up a pawn (Cliff or Nicole most likely) opposite Jackson to ensure Jackson goes home, or if they reconcile with Jackson, keep Jackson to keep the six intact and vote out the pawn.
There's lots of plotting and scheming going on in the old BB house right now. Nick is pretending to be Christie and Jack's loyal lapdog while planning to bite them in the butt. If Nick wins POV and Christie trusts him with her power, (she says she will) he might actually put up Christie opposite Jack and save Jackson. Now that would be funny. Talk about a meltdown. Yikes! Christie would either flood the house with her tears, or tear it down with her bare hands.
Picking of the POV players will take place this afternoon and it'll be a big draw again. Jessica would like to see Kat, Holly, Nicole, Cliff or Nick drawn to play. Christie wants Analyse, Christie, Nick or Tommy drawn to play. Jack doesn't care who gets drawn as he's sure he'll win no matter what so it won't matter. He lost to Jackson in an earlier POV, but he's sure he'll win this time. He says if he loses to Jackson twice then he'll deserve to go home.
Later today/tonight we'll have the POV comp. We know Jessica, Jack and Jackson will be playing along with three other houseguests. We have four possible outcomes. Jess or someone on her side wins and the noms stay the same. Jackson wins and takes himself down and Tommy goes up and Jack remains the target. Jack wins and takes himself down and Tommy goes up and becomes the target. Option three is the trickier one. Christie trusts whoever wins, gives them her power, and they save Jack (most likely) and someone else goes up (likely Nicole or Cliff.) Then it becomes a fight for votes. Christie would have Jack, Analyse, Tommy and her own vote pretty much locked down. Jessica would have whoever remained of Cliff/Nicole, and probably Nick, maybe Holly and maybe Kat. She'd need it to be a four to four tie to use her tiebreaker to evict the Six Shooter.
Jack was so confdent of the votes yesterday that he talked of winning the POV and then not using it. Christie nearly had a heart attack about that and insisted he had to use it if he won it.
Arguably the best case scenario for Jessica is Jackson wins the POV and Tommy goes up opposite Jack. That would force Christie to pick a side between Tommy and Jack and it's possible the Christie/Tommy pre-existing relationship would be exposed. It's kind of the last big secret Tommy would have to expose to try and earn trust to stay in the game.
So, the POV comp today is huge. Jessica wants the noms to stay the same. I think a Jackson win would be better for Jessica. A win by someone Christie trusts with her power could be very bad for Jessica. Expect lots of negotiating as the week goes by depending on who gets the POV.
By the way, much of the house is pretty relaxed and happy right now. Nicole, Nick, Kat and Holly are all having quite a bit of fun and not stressing out too much. They've been dancing and waving to the HOH cameras downstairs and just seem to be having a good time this week. So far anyway.
I'll post back after the picking of the POV players and then again after the POV comp. Expect lots of scheming as this week goes on. It's vaguely possible we could see Jack and Christie both on the block this week which would be quite an epic showdown. (Only if Nick is picked to play in the POV and wins it then Christie gives him her power, but instead of using it to save Jack, he saves Jackson and puts up Christie.) It should be an interesting day of feed watching anyway.
