I agree, I either lose interest or forget some of the story line.  I did enjoy the series though and I am glad it will return.  Maybe the local man (architect?) with the father will get a chance to court the pretty star.

I am pleased that Sanditon will be returning for another season.  However, without Theo James, I see no need to recast the role.  Yes, actors can be replaced,  but, chemistry between actors cannot.  I would rather see Charlotte and young Stringer come together and see what happens.

@grandma r  Agree... It would be hard to find a replacement for Theo... Best just to focus on the familiar, assuming Leo is available. I think he's working on another show, so I hope he is. They shouldn't have waited so long to decide to renew the show... Some members of the cast would be replaceable but not the two main male love interests... Personally, as physically appealing as Theo's character was, I never found him all that likable. Stringer, though, was a sweetheart...

@stevieb. I agree.  I was rooting for young Stringer.

The actor then went on to film Beecham House as the younger brother of the lead actor.  I hope this series is also renewed.   The way it ended begs for more.  However, since it was filmed in India and the covid mess has exploded, who knows if it will ever be safe to film there.

@grandma r  I too watched Beecham house... Leo played a very different and quite sexy character... I wasn't fond of the show... While visually spectacular, it took them so long to get into it that by the time it got even half way interesting, it was over, and I never felt they did a viable job of developing the romance between James and the British woman... The cliffhanger was glaring but I don't care if this one doesn't come back... All indications are that it's cancelled...
