SURVIVOR--Week of March 20, 2024--spoilers

Buh Bye Bhanu.  I almost had to turn it off last night because his whining was driving me nuts.  And One Torch Up to Yanu for actually winning a reward challenge.  Too bad they couldn't use it because they have no flint.  You'd think one of those morons would figure out another way to start a fire.  I'll never forget that one lady who started it with her glasses.

Both challenges this week were incredibly physical though.  All I could think was "How do these people get through them without passing out since they haven't eaten?"  And Hunter--that's the guy you'll want to vote out when you get to merge if he doesn't win immunity.  I think he may be the winner.  I like Soda, but I think she's going to be voted out pretty quickly if they get the chance because she is a social player.

I give this episode 3 torches because of Bhanu's whining.

Bahnu would drive me crazy but he is someone I would want as a friend particularly when I am in need be it emotional support or something else.

If nothing else he has a huge heart and I believe he would be loyal to a friend to the end.

@Marp , deep down, I know he isn't a bad person--you're right--he has a huge heart and his story is really very sad and he has come a long way from his impoverished beginnings.  But he needs to be more self aware.  He might win America's favorite player (I think they have that in Survivor).

Guess I'm a bit more soft hearted. I liked Bhanu and was in tears at the end of the episode.

@Lovestheshores,  I liked him too and in a way was sorry to see him go but he really did not understand the underpinnings of play.

I just hope he doesn't show up on Big Brother where secrets are even more important than on Survivor.

I suspect the players get some Ensure or other nutritional supplement when they don't have food. The risk of their electrolytes getting out of whack and dying is pretty high if they don't do anything.

@DrKelli

They don't even try to make fire. What's wrong with them?

Yeah. I never understand that. It takes months to go through the casting process and you don't learn how to make fire during that time? Why?

I live in the northeast where flint is easily found among other stones. Anyone know if flint  also common there?

Re: SURVIVOR--Week of March 20, 2024--spoilers

I was so happy to see Bhanu leave the game.....i was a bit suspicious of his constant pity party and whining and blaming everything else except himself for being "too honest" for his doing badly in the game.....he knew exactly what he was doing when he told the other tribe members about Kensie and how the other two members were so close...............and the more i watched...especially close ups i noticed he rubbed his eyes alot.....but didn't see any real tears coming down...........and that last scene when he was supposedly crying and the team member asked if she could do anything to help his first words to her in a normal voice (not tearful) was "can you get me an idol?"...............i think he came into the game playing on sympathy.........but just got so far............and i think he didn't reveal his speil in hopes for a return

to Survivor in the future.
