Re: SUCCESSION - HBO Sunday, June 3, 2018

I'm watching but not loving the show. I have said in other threads, once I watch a show, I'm in til the bitter end!

I watched all but the last episode.  I just could not get into this show.

I really wanted to but......perhaps one day I'll go back like I did with "Billions", but for now.......

I seldom give up on shows.  I hope others like it because maybe it will continue.

What is wrong with me for continuing to watch? I keep watching thinking it will finally hook me in, but, so far I just think they are the biggest bunch of dysfuntional freaks... lol

I keep asking myself the same thing...really a bunch of weirdos in this group.  I want to find something or someone I can care about in this show.

I think I read that the show got renewed for  another season ??

@corita I thought I came from a dysfunctional family!!  I think you're being too kind when you say they are self absorbed and nasty. Self absorbed, nasty yes but some of them have no empathy or sympathy. I'm watching the 2nd episode and I think I'm done. I watched it because I like Brian Cox (Logan Roy). In my opinion, he's a really good actor and I have always enjoyed his acting. I'd rather suffer through the summer watching GH, then watch anymore of this show.  Have a great July 4th.

When I saw one actor in this show urinating on the carpet in an office and cleaning up the resultng spray from a window (all with an air of self-satisfaction), that pretty much finished it off for me.

Producers must truly be catering to the lowest common denominators in our society.

[ Edited ]

I too have been watching from the beginning and think the show is pretty dour and disgusting.  Nothing pretty or clever and certainly nothing funny.

Like a trainwreck, I'm still watching.

This is truly a gross show!!  I think the only reason I keep watching is to find out "why" there was a story about this family.

GH has had some pretty repellent stories, but am not sure that any were this disgusting!!

You have a safe and healthy 4th too!!!

@corita. After 50 years of watching GH, I stopped watching it recently because it has been sooooo boring. I'd rather be totally bored out of my mind, than watch anymore of this show. I should have made myself clearer ( if that's proper English). Not for any other reason.  I completely agree with you. I see no reason for this show! There are no redeeming factors. If you see that it gets any better, please let me know. Take care.
