@January121 You think your Spectrum bill is high... here's my story.
We too have Spectrum years ago after they bought out Time Warner which we also hated. Spectrum is doing what they call big upgrades to make everything better. Better according to who???? About a month ago I strated getting a bunch of emails from them to get here to do upgrades which of course meant outside pole work and inside too. So I broke down, mde an appointment. After fooling around with the cable line to the tv, he changed out spliters on both tvs, fooled around with the remotes to "work better".
A few days after the remotes didn't work as he "fixed" them b/c he said we weren't using them properly to turn on/off tvs. Then two weeks later the bill showed up. It went from from $269 to $280+ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cable guy didn't say they were passing their updates onto home owners, those of us who have Spectrum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't had a conversation with anybody from the company yet on why the increase but I certainly will.
AND the cable still doesn't work properly - fuzzy screen, freeze-ups, tv goes blank, program guide had a total screwup in totally changing titles of programs with the channels they were supposed to be on. I HAD TO reboot the box myself to get things square again - all for the modest cost of $280 a month. I do not think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This doesn't even account for them for no reason taking away channels we used to have - they're infamous for doing this - OFTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
