I think Tom Hanks is a great guy. Tina Fey is great as well, filling in to help out Lorne Michaels. I understand it couldn't be helped but the Christmas show was disappointing and dull.

Along, apparently, with the rest of NYC, which was just springing back to life, they should have simply gone dark and NBC could have shown a quality holiday movie or something. As it was, it just added to the overall sense of gloom, thanks to this never-ending mess.
