I am not at all familiar with the Sam Benedict series but it sounds like a good one, Edmond O'Brien always a great performance.  Twenty eight episodes  isn't much but many good series are not long lived on TV.

The Defenders, Naked City, Perry Mason, Streets of San Francisco, Honey West, Police Woman were some of my favorites among others.  I wish MeTV would add some of these series to there schedule.

@spiderw - If you have ME TV Plus, they air Police Woman and Streets of San Francisco daily,  Monday through Friday.  Me TV Plus is not a streaming channel, but a sister station of ME TV.  I don't think it is available everywhere. We just got it recently in NY.

Re: SIXTIES COURTROOM DRAMA TO TRY ON DVD

Thanks for mentioning "METV Plus" again, @twinsister .  As luck would have it, it appears (to me so far, but could be wrong), that our DirecTV system isn't carrying it yet.

I found it hard to find out online exactly how many markets they are now in.   Apparently, they started out small, in just Chicago and Kingman, Arizona (other accounts said in Phoenix, Arizona).  But they have expanded since then.  Lucky New Yorkers!

But maybe someday they will be more widespread-- I'll be looking out for them!

@Oznell - I hope DirecTV starts carrying it soon for you. I'm glad we finally got it.  You will enjoy it, especially Burke's Law.   This week they started airing Hawaiian Eye - a real oldie!

@Oznell : I always enjoy your posts. Thanks for sharing . Just ordered Sam Benedict and Hawaiian Eye. Someone else in the household always makes statements like: " You reading stuff on that QVC thing?"Well - read him your information on this series. His reply: When do plan to order ?😳😃

Oh, @twinsister ,  I only twigged just now to the fact that it was "Hawaii Five-0" that had Jack Lord, not "Hawaiian Eye"!   You were kind not to mock my confusing the two landmark series!

@SouthernBee,  I'm thrilled that you will be getting "Sam Benedict" and "Hawaiian Eye".   Hope you and hubby enjoy them.  I'm dying to hear what others think of "Sam Benedict",  so I hope you'll do a drive-by here later and give your review!

@Oznell : Today - I needed to escape reality for a few hours . Around 2:00p.m., we started watching Sam Benedict and just finished the first dvd. Wow!!! Really love this one. Do you have any more great suggestions?  Thank you. Enjoy your weekend.❤️

I couldn't be more pleased, @SouthernBee ,  that you are enjoying "Sam Benedict"!   Isn't it engrossing?  As far as other suggestions--  oh, boy, you have issued a challenge--  I do have a few other favorites on DVD, that may or may not suit your tastes.

Let's see-- I will do some looking over my collection, and then I will post a new thread for you with a few possibilties.
