I watched Curly Top at 4 AM. 

 

Antenna TV had Oscar Levant on the Joey Bishop Show. So I stayed up to watch it. Of course I fell asleep and missed seeing him. And then Curly Top came on. By then I was wide awake so I had to watch. Wanted to see Shirley Temple and John Boles. 

 

It is fun to watch how Shirley Temple seems to have no trouble remembering her lines and songs while she is charming whoever is on the set. It was funny to watch as she pulled on John Boles tie and started playing with it. And yet no one missed a beat in their dialogue.
