Remember this series from the early 60's. The Decades Channel is running a marathon of it all weekend.

i don't know if you get a channel called  Me TV but we do on DirectTV and they run Route 66 all

the time. In fact it's on tonight. I've really enjoyed watching it.

I get both of those stations and love watching those old shows, because I remember them in the originals.

I live in Baltimore, I can remember as a little girl, they came here to film one of the Route 66 episodes at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Yes, it also comes on ME TV, but usually in the middle of the night, unless they changed the time.

Go here.  Read this.  Interesting about Buzz and Todd from George Maharis.

I STILL don't know how to make it click on.

Great article, thanks for sharing.

I remember Glenn Corbett from a role he later took on The Doctors soap opera.

Martin Milner just died in Sept 1915 he was 83.

Didn't the song say, "You can get your kicks on Route 66"?  Now that's in my head.  Look there isn't a lot of room in my head, I need to get that out!

I have had a sweatshirt for years with the map and it says"Route 66" on it.  I haven,t worn it in ages, like New, didn,t want it to fade.  Wow, I remember the actors when they were young and the original show.  Time goes fast and especially @ my age.

Those were the days of decent shows.  Thanks for the memories, as BOB HOPE would sign off.

As an aside, I remember reading in People magazine when Paul McCartney was dating his now-wife Nancy Shevell, they drove Route 66 just for a  romantic getaway.  I remember feeling so jealous of her! Sigh, traveling Route 66 with a Beatle.  Heaven!
