Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn was on SyFy today.

I happened to tune in to the scene in which Rick (in the credits as Richard Domeier) met the earnest daughter of the professor as she arrived at the airport in her Bermuda shorts and knee socks and neatly tucked in button-front shirt.

He was quite recognizable, even though so young.

I had known he was in this movie, but hadn't seen it before.

The one I really didn't recognize was Bruce Campbell, who got knocked around quite an incredible amount.  The scene when he fights with his possessed hand actually became very funny.

I read that Greg Nicotero, now of The Walking Dead, was a special effects makeup artist on this film.

This is Rick back then:

@GingerPeach I don't know who Rick is but I am a HUGE Evil Dead/Army of Darkness fan and own all three movies, lol! I do know that the second one also had a girl who was on my mom's soap opera Kassie DePavia. She played Blair on One Life to Live.

Rick Domeier, QVC host, @HappyDaze

Credited as Richard Domeier in the movie.

Did you read the part about Greg Nicotero?

I saw Rick in the movie about Roseanne Barr's life, I think she played herself in the movie.  But I remember seeing Rick in a bit part.

@GingerPeach sorry, I am just not familar with him. The only guy host I know on QVC is Alberti. Smiley Happy

That wouldn't surprise me about Greg! I always thought the special effects for those movies were ahead of their time, lol, and Walking Dead's special effects are amazing as well, especially for a tv series!

I'm aghast,  simply aghast, @HappyDaze

(Head thrown back, back of the hand pressed to forehead!)

I thought each and every QVC board poster knew every host and all their accomplishments and all their good and bad points!!

But if you have to know only one of the male hosts, Alberti is a peach.

Interesting, @Lucky Charm.  I didn't know there was a movie about her life.

I was watching Evil Dead II a few months ago and I was shocked to see Rick! I know he was on the Young and the Resless I believe but didn't know about Evil Dead.  Another time I was watching a horror movie and saw Josie Maran in it.  Funny to see QVC people out of their environment we're used to,  Nice surprise though.

Hey, @HappyDaze

If you're around, Rick is on right now with the TSV from Cottage Farms.

(I just switched over during a commercial in Lucifer.)

I didn't either!  I'd totally watch that.
