Requiem for A Dream

Yesterday after watching several offerings on HBO over the past 4 weeks, was running our of options although I have Roku and several channels.

 

Decided to dive into the award winning Requiem for A Dream (2000).  OMG!  One of the best movies I have ever seen.  Excellent performances by the entire cast:  Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, Marlon Wayans, Christopher McDonald, Keith David, etc., etc.

 

Not a dull moment.  Dark, realistic, tender moments, sad and packs a punch.

 

Highly recommend. I believe it is also featured in Netflix.

I watched that movie back in 2003 and still remember it to this day.
