Oh my goodness.........the closing of the first episode was a shock. When Johannes refused to be intimate w/Nella, I was thinking there was something going on between Johannes and his sister, but this was a different revelation.................

Marin is protective of Johannes because she knows he is gay. I didn't think there was anything incestuous betweeen them and thought right away Joannes is gay.
And does Marin own more than one dress??

I was completely shocked! The show really held my attention. I look forward to what's being served up next Sunday.

If you look back in history, that was the style then. Looks awfully uncomfortable to me, but back then it was the "in" thing.

Probably not. She seems to be quite the tight wad.

Yeah, I enjoyed it will watch it thru.
As a lover of 'fine' items I sure could appreciate the expertise of that tiny
furniture. Exquisite !
He needs to get her pregnant and she'll be off his back then. LOL
That sister in law has to go ! and NOW ! Me and her would had butt heads
from minute one. Can't be 2 queens in the same hive.

I really enjoyed both episodes and like how we get a shocker at each hour's end.
I agree that the miniature furniture and accoutrements are outstanding and perfectly designed to mimic the household and staff.
There were moments when I struggled with some of the dialog. My ear doesn't catch accents well, especially when spoken quickly or mumbled. But I'm getting better.
Looking forward to episode three.
