So handsome, Steve made it all look effortless and natural in his many acting roles.

I have always felt his steely-blue eyes are right up there whith those of Paul Newman.  One of the most attractive male movie stars.

Years ago, DH's buddies used to tell folks that they were there with Steve McQueen's brother.   Boys will be boys, for sure !

Oh my, I just loved Steve McQueen back in the day.  My first date with my now husband of 51 years was "Bullitt."  I had seen the movie the week before, but when he suggested it I went along so I could see Steve again.  It worked out pretty well all around lol!!

What a wonderful story.

Bullitt is my favorite Steve McQueen movie.  I watch it every time it's on TCM.  As a child, I was mesmerized by the car chase (which made me a lifelong Mustang lover), and the airport scene where he laid on the runway as the plane rolled over him.  Just pure entertainment!

He was fine as all get out.  I remember some black and whites he was in.

I opened this to make sure you were not referring to the famous Director whose name is Steve McQueen.

@Chopsmom  I believe the car chase in Bullitt is considered to be the greatest **Hollywood** car chase of all time.
