This is a documentary airing Tuesday August 15 on Paramount+. It's a documentary that recounts how the show wasn't supposed to happen Parker wanted a Christmas special, Steve Binder had other plans. I came late to Elvis fandom, after he died I came to appreciate how talented he was. I won't be able to see this, those of you that have Paramount+ I hope you enjoy it. I will often watch the video of If I Can Dream from the special it gets me every time.

I loved and still love Elvis. My mom is a huge fan, born the same year as Elvis. I grew up listening to his music because of her.

I have a few favorite songs. My number one is The Wonder of You.

I also love I'll Remember You and Suspicious Minds.

Come to think of it I love them all!

8/16/77 I'll always remember where I was that day. I was at Disney World.

I'll watch the documentary. I always do.

I think 68 Comeback Special Elvis was the hottest Elvis ever was. I saw the outfit at Graceland, he was so slim to fit into that leather outfit.

I remember my parents were on a European trip ( it was a tour , like 4 or 5 countries in 10-14 days). They read about Elvis dying and I think Groucho Marx died that day too. Also my dad was a Yankee fan, when he left for his trip they were like in last place, by the time he came back they were in first place!
