Ree Drummond Leaving Food Network

I was on another website and to the right came this pop up from People Magazine that she was leaving Food Network.  Apparently FN was not happy about her taling about her new Keto Gummies weight loss product on People and Good Morning America.  FN's sponsor is WW and they have lost sales and blame Ree.  She had the choice to leave FN or stop selling her product.  She chose not to be intimidated by FN and chose to leave FN.  Did anyone else hear about this?  There was a pic of her before and now and she is much thinner.  Also a pic of her on GMA with Robyn talking about this.  If this is true, I will miss her show and stories about her kids.  Not that I made a lot of her recipes but I enjoyed the show.

@WORKING GAL  I saw the same ad pop up, but I thought it was one of those click bait things like "These (your home town) people earn____ while working from home," or "Sandra Bullock, Her Last Words."

Re: Ree Drummond Leaving Food Network

I know she has lost weight and there has been an article with all she did and did not do and the gummies were never mentioned at all.  She did say she did not do keto.  I have seen there have been many scams with celebs associated with various items making it appear they support, use and are advertising them and they are just that, scams.  No idea if that is the case with Rae but any time I see anythiing along those lines I assume it is a scam.

Re: Ree Drummond Leaving Food Network

Ree has been open about her weight loss and said she ate less and moved more.  Regarding her leaving FN, that is not confirmed.  Several internet sites report "Despite rumors circulating that Ree was looking toward starting a new chapter in her career, she has not made any official announcement about leaving Food Network."

@Wsmom- I hope it is a scam.  The article mentioned that she started this product because her brother died in 2021 from being overweight and and another malady.  I remember seing her brother (I think his name was Mike) on some early shows and he had other issues that may have contributed to his death.

According to a post on her Facebook page....this information is false.  She does not endorse any gummies and not leaving FN.  You don't have to be on Facebook to see this....Google Ree Drummond and scroll down* to her Facebook item....read through a few days of posts...you'll find it.  She refers to this as False Ads popping up.

* post follows some recipes...few days of posting down...

after post of video with her son-in-law.....marked as 6d

Re: Ree Drummond Leaving Food Network

It was a scam. She said how she lost weight on her website and it didnt involve keto gummies.

This is from Snopes:

In sum, there was no sad or tragic news or any "allegations" to report about Drummond, nor did "The Pioneer Woman" ever endorsed Condor CBD Gummies, Truly Keto, and TrimClinical Keto, or any other similar products for Fox News, Time, or "Today."

She also has not officially quit her tv show.

She might since she now has a Mercantile a Pizza place, an Inn etc. in Pawhuska, along with a house for her sister, and is a busy lady.

Re: Ree Drummond Leaving Food Network

I like Ree and record her FN show because I like her easy way of cooking.  Doesn't get all wound up about measuring and the like.

When I cook, and it isn't often, I'm easy going also.

All said, I wish her well and continued success. Cat Happy

Re: Ree Drummond Leaving Food Network

Maybe she can land a cooking show on PBS.  Or is that too high-brow?
