One guy was the big, overweight guy and the other was the guy who was on Wild, Wild West.  Robert conrad and William Conrad. Might have my Conrads mixed up.

I just watched it!  I had DVRd it this morning.  It was magnificent with a stellar cast.  Love TCM.

We watched it early this morning.  I love "Noir Alley" on TCM!  The pharmacist (Richard Basehart) was plotting to kill his wife's boyfriend.  Instead, she killed him and tryed to pin the blame on him.  Barry Sullivan, William Conrad, Cyd Charisse also star.  Film Noir....suffering in style!

"Tension" is a good little "sleeper" noir,  with some interesting performances.  I always like sullen Audrey Totter, and of course, never-fail Barry Sullivan.  And can never take my eyes off of Richard Basehart in anything noir.  He's a far cry in this from his stalwart "Admiral Nelson" role in TV's "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea"!

Another terrific Richard Basehart suspense film to check out--  San Francisco-based  "The House on Telegraph Hill",  with Valentina Cortese and William Lundigan.
