Had some time on our hands.  Feeling like seeing a movie in the movie theatre which we rarely do.  Decided to see the movie REAGAN.  Wow, best Sunday we had in a long time.  Arrived, bought lunch and sat in the theatre lobby eating it.  Then went into the actual theatre,sat down in comfy seats and watched the movie.

Very well done. Well written and acted.  Very interesting because it was historical as well as entertaining.

I would recommend it to everyone.

That's great to hear, @bonnielu -- thanks for your review.  It looks to me like it would be a fascinating slice of history.

When I first started hearing about it, I thought, wow, deft casting-  Dennis Quaid and Penelope Ann Miller:

Sounds like Jon Voigt has an interesting role in it!

Lesley-Anne Down said that playing Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was the most intimidating role of her career, but she relished it.  Hope they did justice in the film to the strategic allliance and unusual rapport between the Reagan and Thatcher of the period.

Appreciate your recommendation.

I studied Reagan and would never spend a penny to see something related to him.

Dennis and Penelope were on The Today Show to discuss the film, their preparation for their roles and the filming.   It sounds fascinating!

As they both emphasized, it's essentially "a love story."

I am eager to see it.

Quaid has been on Fox News quite a lot to promote it.

@Oznell

I was listening to Larry Kudlow's radio show on the way home from work Saturday morning.  He mentioned that he and his wife had just seen the film and his review was positive.

Encouraging since he knew the Reagans and was part of the administration.

Won't be in the theaters long, so I better decide soon. Woman LOL
