I have no idea why, but she came to mind the other day. Haven't thought of her since she was on Mike Douglas ...like I said, no idea why. So I looked her up, she has a web page, and she's still entertaining! How wonderful for her. She was like a young Barbra Streisand. That's who I was thinking about, the radio played a BS song. EVERGREEN. I was still singing it yesterday. Guess that's why.

So if she's still entertaining, have you seen her?

@qualitygal LOL, I guess we're dating ourselves, but yes, I remember seeing her on Mike Douglas and Johnny Carson. I haven't thought of her in years.

But someone else who will date me....DH and I went to a concert a few weeks ago, kind of spur of the moment. The artists were the group Exile and Juice Newton. Ha! They all did OK, but Juice's voice isn't quite holding up anymore. Even so, I was glad to hear her sing Break it to Me Gently - I used to turn that one up loud and really belt it out when I was driving alone. Ahh, memories.

I remember Julie Budd and always thought she would have been a lot better known if Barbra Streisand had not been so famous at the time. She had a lovely voice but very similar to Barbra's. Glad to know she is still entertaining.

I had to look her up on Youtube as I have no memory of her and I did watch Mike Douglas and the like. She's lovely with a beautiful voice. Entertainment people I usually know, don't know how I missed her.
