RARELY SEEN ELIZABETH TAYLOR THRILLER MONDAY 11:45 A.M. EASTERN TCM

11:45 a.m. Eastern--   "Night Watch"   Elizabeth Taylor, Laurence Harvey, Billie Whitelaw

 

Overwrought and baroque British thriller, but the presence of Taylor and Harvey (together again after "Butterfield 8") make for a notably sudsy and 'camp' watch.

 

Elizabeth is at the height of her mature, Seventies' beauty in this.  She's all bountiful, brunette waves, trademark jewels, and flowy, Halston-esque outfits in this.  She's currently living a tony life with hubby Laurence Harvey, but with a traumatic breakdown in her past.  She also may or may not have witnessed a murder, with few to heed or believe her...

figures it's on TV now after I paid for the DVD !

 

Be glad  when Evita comes out starring Faye Dunaway. That's a hard one

to find !

 

Ol Liz has some pretty good 'pretties' on in that movie and  she makes sure you see them in the phone scene. LOL
